ITU researcher receives artificial life-award

The International Society for Artificial Life has awarded Sebastian Risi, Associate Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen, with the “Distinguished Young Investigator Award.”
According to The International Society for Artificial Life, “The Distinguished Young Investigator Award will recognize an individual who is early in their career (typically pre-tenure), but has already made important contributions to the field of Artificial Life.”
Sebastian Risi receives the award as a recognition of his many publications on artificial intelligence and life, of which some previously have been awarded with best paper awards.
