Research Ethics and Integrity
At the IT University of Copenhagen, research integrity and ethical responsibility are fundamental to our research values and practices. Integrity promotes transparency, honesty, and accountability throughout the research process, while ethics ensures that research is carried out with respect for individuals, communities, and societal values. Together, they safeguard responsible conduct and uphold the credibility of our research, as well as the trust placed in us as a public research institution.
Therefore, all researchers at the IT University are expected to:
- Be familiar with and adhere to the The Danish Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (updated January 2026).
- Ensure that the ethical requirements relevant to their research are met and that any necessary institutional approvals are obtained
