Special Educational Support
Early admission if you require special educational support
If you can document that you have a disability, you have the opportunity to receive a response to your admission application by June 30 at the latest. This is relevant for you if you wish to apply for Special Educational Support (SPS).
If you are granted early admission, the SPS guidance team at ITU will assist you in applying for SPS before your studies begin. However, the actual SPS support can only be initiated once you start your studies. Please note that early admission does not guarantee that you will be granted SPS. You can read more about SPS.
How to apply for early admission
- Upload documentation of your disability along with your admission application at optagelse.dk.
- Fill out this application form no later than May 1.
- Meet all admission requirements for the program no later than May 1.
- Apply to ITU as your first priority via optagelse.dk.
We offer you early admission if we assess that you will meet the admission quota in quota 1 or if you are among the applicants prioritized for admission in quota 2. You can only be granted early admission for your first-priority program.
We will send you the offer by June 30 at the latest, and you must accept the offer by July 5. As soon as you have accepted an early admission offer, you can apply for SPS. However, you will still only be able to apply for SU (student grants) from August.
For us to process your application for early admission, please be aware of the following deadlines:
- Quota 2: You must have applied for admission by 15 March at 12:00 noon (CET).
- Quota 1: You must have applied for admission by 1 May.
You can apply for early admission between 1 February and 1 May.
We will assess your early admission application based on the documentation you attach to your application via optagelse.dk.
