At the IT University of Copenhagen, innovation and entrepreneurship are highly prioritised, and both students and researchers are encouraged to translate knowledge and ideas into new ventures. ITU offers advice and support throughout the entire journey – from early-stage considerations to established startups and spin-outs.
ITU NextGen is the IT University’s innovation and startup hub for students. Here, students can take part in inspiring activities, build entrepreneurial competencies, and test and develop ideas.
Students with ambitions to start their own company can also apply for a place in the startup programme and become part of the startup hub.

ITU Business Development supports the further development and commercialisation of ideas and technologies developed at ITU. The primary focus is on research-based startups and spin-outs, once projects have reached a level of maturity where business development and external anchoring are essential.
