Study abroad

As a master's student at ITU, you have the opportunity to study at a university abroad as part of your degree.

During an exchange stay, you can explore academic fields in depth that complement your education and strengthen your academic profile. You will gain new perspectives on your field of study and be part of an international academic environment. At the same time, you gain experience in collaborating across cultures and academic disciplines, and you can build a network of students and researchers from around the world.

I believe that changing your surroundings for a while and broadening your perspective is beneficial, no matter what field you are in.

How do you go on exchange?

ITU has exchange agreements with universities in a wide range of countries. These agreements make it easier to plan your stay and find courses that fit into your programme and your academic interests.

You do not have to navigate the process alone. ITU’s international coordinator will support you throughout the process with your application and practical arrangements for your stay. The Study and Career Guidance team can also advise you on how an exchange stay can best support your academic and career goals.
