Study abroad

As a student at ITU, you have the opportunity to study at a university abroad as part of your degree.

During an exchange stay, you can explore a new academic and everyday culture, meet students from around the world, and gain new perspectives on both your field of study and yourself. At the same time, you will develop skills that can benefit you during your studies and later in your career, for example, the ability to navigate new environments and collaborate with people from different backgrounds.

You will make lifelong friends and memories, and it can also be a great stepping stone to an international career.

How do you go on exchange?

ITU has exchange agreements with universities in a wide range of countries. These agreements make it easier to plan your stay and choose courses that fit into your programme.

You do not have to navigate the process alone. ITU’s international coordinator will support you throughout the process, and the Study and Career Guidance team can advise you on when an exchange would best fit into your programme.
