ITU appoints new Chairman of the Board
Maria Rørbye Rønn, Director General of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, succeeds Jørgen Lindegaard as Chairman of the Board at the IT University of Copenhagen.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IT University of Copenhagen, Jørgen Lindegaard, former CEO and Managing Director at ISS Holding, ISS A/S and SAS Group, who has been Chairman of the Board since October 1, 2011, has decided to step down as Chairman by the end of 2016.
The Board of Directors of the IT University of Copenhagen has unanimously appointed board member Maria Rørbye Rønn, Director General of DR (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation), who has been member of the board since November 1, 2012, as new Chairman of the Board as per January 1, 2017. Jørgen Lindegaard continues on the board as ordinary board member.
”After six years as Chairman and only two years remaining of my final term on the board, I have decided that the time is right for a generational change in the chairmanship. Maria Rørbye Rønn is an extremely qualified person to lead ITU’s exciting development and dedicated effort to increasing the number of new IT graduates, which Denmark so urgently needs,” says Jørgen Lindegaard.
The Board of Directors is looking forward to continuing the work together with Jørgen Lindegaard as board member and Maria Rørbye Rønn as Chairman of the Board.
