Legal right to a master's programme

If you have studied a bachelor's degree at ITU, you will have legal right to one MSc programme (direct admission, when you apply). Which programme depends on when you were admitted to your bachelor's programme.

Please note, you must still make an application for the master's programme no later than 1 March at 23.59. You do not need to upload any application materials.

BSC IN DATA SCIENCE

You have Legal Rights for:

The MSc in Data Science.
The MSc in Computer Science. ONLY for those who did the Technical Track and where admitted up to and including 2020.
The MSc in Digital Innovation & Management. ONLY for those who did the Business Track and where admitted up to and including 2020.

If you have completed your bachelor's after 1 January 2019, you have legal requirements for the education in question for 3 years.

In addition, you are qualified to apply for the MSc in Games (Technical Track), the MSc in Digital Design & Interactive Technologies and the MSc in Digital Innovation & Management. Here, however, you do not have legal requirements and must apply on an equal footing with those who do not have a BSc from the IT University.

BSC IN GLOBAL BUSINESS INFORMATICS

You have Legal Rights for:

The MSc in Digital Innovation & Management.
The Msc in Games (Design Track). ONLY for those who where admitted up to and including 2017.
The MSc in Software Design. ONLY for those who where admitted up to and including 2017.

If you have completed your bachelor's after 1 January 2019, you have legal requirements for the education in question for 3 years.

In addition, you are qualified to apply for the MSc in Digital Design & Interactive Technologies, the MSc in Games (Design Track) and the MSc in Software Design. Here, however, you do not have legal requirements and must apply on an equal footing with those who do not have a BSc from the IT University.

Regulation

The legal right is valid for three years
If you have completed your bachelor's after 1 January 2019, you have legal right for the programme in question for three years.

The legal right can be used only once
Please note that if you are or have been enrolled on an MSc programme with your legal right, you have used it and can no longer apply this right - even if you had legal right to several MSc programmes as you can only use it once.

You legal right is used when you accept a study place
You use your legal right as soon as you accept an offered study on any MSc programme that your BSc programme gives you legal right to.
