    Course description
    The course will cover the following:
    • Appropriate structures of academic articles including the IMRAD structure.
    • Tools, techniques and guidance for writing effectively.
    • Key elements of English Grammar.
    • Writing concisely.
    • Rules for punctuation.
    • Participants give and receive feedback on their own writing, and review other articles.
    • Exercises to practise the theory presented in class.

    The students are expected to use 20 hours on participation and 10 hours on preparation.

    Prerequisites
    A basic knowledge of English

    Credits
    4 ECTS obtained from class participation, preparations and one assignment.
