Fall 2011 (16 weekly meetings) - please check webpage for upcoming details

    Time

Course description What is going on in the Global Software Development (GSD) field? Which papers you do not want to miss? And which are the ones that have just been published? This reading group will focus on expanding and sharing information about research in GSD. The aim is to remain constantly updated by discussing selected papers.

The course will take the form of a discussion group led by presentations given by participants. The list of readings will partially be
picked from a predefined set but mainly determined by participants themselves according to their personal interests in the area.

    Program
During each meeting, one or two students will lead the discussion on a research paper either picked from a predefined set provided by the moderators or by autonomously selecting it. The paper will be selected the week before the meeting and shared with the rest of the participants.

A list of relevant publications will be provided before the starting of the course.

An introductory session will be held at the beginning of the course to understand individual interests in the area.

    Exam
    None. Students evaluated on participation
