Who pays tuition fee?
Non-EU and non-EEA students are required to pay a tuition fee when studying in Denmark. That is, students from countries outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) are charged tuition fees. EU and EEA citizens are not required to pay a tuition fee when studying in Denmark.
How much is the tuition fee?
The tuition fees are payable by biannual installments in advance of each semester, i.e. DKK 50,000 (price per January 2020). Be aware that the tuition fee may change. Information on tuition fee is updated every January.
Demonstration of funds
The Danish Immigration Service will ask students from outside the EU/EEA countries to demonstrate funds before issuing a residence permit. Please find further information about residence permit on the web page of New to Denmark.
Late application for residence permit
Please be aware that you will receive the result of your application by July 28. If you are not in Denmark already or are from a visa free country, you might not receive your residence permit before study start. We start up the application process for your residence permit once we have received your payment of tuition fee.
Conditional admission
Conditional admission is not an option for applicants paying tuition fee.
No scholarships
Please note that no scholarships are available for BSc students at the IT University.
