Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the superior authority at the IT University. The Board of Directors is responsible for maintaining the IT University’s interests as an education and research institution. It establishes the guidelines for the organisation, for its long-term activities and development.
The Board of Directors is constituted by the following members:

- David Sands, Professor in Computer Science, ChaImers University of Technology.
- Mircea Lungu, Associate Professor, staff-elected member from the IT University
- Martin Lutander Holm Jensen, controller, staff-elected member from the IT University of Copenhagen
- Younes El-Azzouzi, student, IT University of Copenhagen
- Ayushmaan Bordoloi, student, IT University of Copenhagen

The committee, which appoints the Chair of the Board and the other external board members, cf. Appendix 1 to the Articles of Association of the IT University of Copenhagen, consists of the following members:
