Digitalisation, digital transformation, and IT management will be the common features in the new online talk series ITU ESPRESSO to be launched by the IT University on 26 November 2020.
In a line of live streamed talks of 20 – 30 minutes, moderator Pernille Enggaard will engage a scientist or an expert in a constructive debate about the state of digital transformation in Denmark.
The talks will be launched alongside the IT University’s revised master’s programme in IT Management (enrolment 2021) and shed light on the digital transformation underway in many businesses and organisations.
The principal aim of ITU ESPRESSO is thus to set forth relevant research findings and pass on useful advice to leaders of digital innovation across industries and sectors. ITU ESPRESSO will look into the possibilities, challenges, trends and dilemmas that come with digitalisation in the intersection between IT, management, and business development. Like any good espresso, the talks will be short and concentrated – ready to go.
Lene Pries-Heje, Head of Business IT, sees the talks as an opportunity for ITU to unite research and practice:
”We want to make research-based knowledge accessible to a larger audience and to expand the perspectives on IT management and digital leadership,” she explains.
”ITU has a particularly solid, academic environment and a research-based professional education in this field. ITU ESPRESSO is for people who are looking to create more value in their business or organisation through the incorporation of IT and for anyone curious about the on-going research in this area.”
ITU ESPRESSO will be moderated by journalist Pernille Enggaard. She has hosted Millionærklubben at Euroinvestor, and she has also worked for TV2 News and Radio24syv.
The talks will start on Thursday, 26 November 2020. Our first guest, Assistant Professor, Louise Harder Fischer, will be addressing the social and technological dynamics at play as new technology is introduced in a given organisation.
Please note: unless stated otherwise, the ITU ESPRESSO talks will be in Danish.
