How to make your application

The academic subject requirements vary from one programme to another, and therefore the requested application material you must upload with your application also vary. Please read carefully under the programme you are applying to.

The application deadline is 1 March at 23.59 CET

Other important dates
  • January: The Application Portal opens mid-January.
  • March: Application deadline 1 March at 23.59 CET.
  • June: You receive an answer to your application no later than June 10.
  • August: Study start in week 35.

Good advice before making your application

Before you start creating your application in our Application Portal, it is a good idea to have your application materials and documentation ready. We also recommend that you save drafts continuously as you work in the Application Portal.

You can only apply by submitting a digital application through the Application Portal. It is your responsibility to complete the application process correctly and submit your application before the deadline on March 1 at 23:59 CET. If you are logged into the Application Portal before 23:59, you will still be able to submit your application even if the clock passes midnight.

It takes time to complete an application

We recommend that you start your application well in advance. There are often queues in the system close to the application deadline, so we recommend that you either apply early or set aside up to six hours to be able to complete your application on time.

Login instructions

When you log in for the first time, you can do so in three different ways. You can find login help in the login guide, before you start making your application.

Application Guide

If you need help filling out the fields and understanding the process on the Application Portal, you can read the application guide, which goes through the entire application process. Once you have completed and submitted your application, you will receive a notification at the email address you registered with on the Application Portal.

Confirmation of receipt of your application

You will receive an email notification that there is a receipt in the Application Portal confirming that we have received your application.
The processing of applications cannot be expedited by personal inquiry.
