Course description
The main goal of this class is to cover the fundamentals of networking in the context of sensor networks. There is basically no networking course at ITU. This advanced course will review the basics of networking and provide students with the opportunity to proceed to hands-on experiments.

Learning goals
On completion of this course, students will be able to:
- analyze the link budgt for a given deployment
- compare technologies for the energy, antenna and communication components of a wireless system
- design the communication component for a wireless sensor network system.
