Center for Games Research
The Center for Computer Games Research is a multi-disciplinary research center with backgrounds in the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Computer Science.
The center performs basic and applied research, approaching games from a variety of perspectives including theoretical analysis, design, ethnographic and qualitative approaches, AI, user (cognitive and affective) modeling and player experience.
The group also deal with subjects such as ‘serious games’: How computer games can be used for education, rehabilitation, medical purposes and many other purposes.
