Open House for MSc programmes

Welcome to the ITU’s Online Open House for MSc programmes. Here you can find the programme for the event, find information about career opportunities, meet some students and alumni who talks about their studies and careers.

You will have the opportunity to chat your questions to the teachers and students after the programme presentations or to the student advisors in the Q & A sessions. Please note that some questions might be in Danish as we will have many potential students from Denmark. We will do our best to sum up the essence in English.

The Open House for MSc programmes were held online on February 1, 2022. Presentations and Q&As were recorded and will be made available on this page as soon as possible.


Presentations and live-sessions about the master programmes:

  • 2:00PM – 2:45PM MSc in Data Science 
  • 3:00PM – 3:45PM  MSc in Games
  • 4:00PM – 4:45PM  MSc in Digital Design and Interactive Technologies 
  • 5:00PM – 5:45PM  MSc in Digital Innovation & Management
  • 6:00PM – 6:45PM  MSc in Software Design
  • 7:00PM – 7:45PM   MSc in Computer Science

Every programme will have a presentation from the Head of the Programme followed by a live session where you can ask questions via chat. The Head of Programme and a student from the programme will be ready to answer your questions. All live sessions will be recorded and made available afterwards. 

At the programme presentations you can hear about the content of the master programmes, the possibilities of specializing your education, going abroad, the career opportunities and everyday life as a student at the IT University.


Q&A sessions:

If you have more questions, you can join the Q&A sessions. Here, the study guidance team will be ready with good advise on how to navigate the process of choosing your MSc programme and will be able to answer your questions on admission requirements and the application process.

  • 5:30PM – 6:00PM

You might also be interested in hearing more about the student life at ITU. Join the student life session where students from several programmes will talk about the student organisations and student life on campus. You will have the possibility to send your questions via chat in the zoom event and the students will do their best to answer all the questions coming in. there might be questions in Danish, but the students will summarise and translate throughout the session.

Projects from MSc programmes

Meet Melania and Laura who both study Digital Innovation & Management, and here you can about a project they have done and get an idea of some of the competencies and academic skills you acquie on this MSc programme. 

Mark studies Games at the ITU, but has done a semester at DADIU. Here, you can hear about the game he and his group designed and developed and he talks about his own role as Game Producer.

Julie studies Digital Design & Interactive Technologies. Here, she presents a project she has done and talks about the competencies and tools applied from the programme.

Marie studies Games and here, you can hear about a computer game she and her group made.

Meet some students

This film is about the specialisation in Big Data from the MSc degree in Digital Innovation & Management. Here you meet Benjamin who talks about the opportunity to work with technical challenges, organisational processes and societal worries about Big Data. You will learn to apply critical and theoretical tools you have acquired earlier in your studies.

Meet Daniel who is studying the MSc programme in Digital Design & Interactive Technologies, and hear him talk about how he is specialising in User Experience.

This specialisaion in UX Design provides the theoretical framework and skillset to design innovative user experiences. It provides you with knowledge and compentencies which are in high demand across sectors and industries.

Hear computer scientist, Nina Stausholm, talk about working as a PhD student at ITU, and what you do when you are a computer science researcher.

Meet some alumni

MSc in Digital Innovation & Management

Meet Johanna who is a consultant in the worldwide consultancy McKinsey & Company. She studied Digital Innovation & Management, and here you will learn about how she applies the skillset and knowledge she acquired while studying at ITU.

In this video Camilla talks about how her degree in Games from ITU led her to a job in the gaming industry. She describes what she does as an Associate Producer and what competencies the job requires.

Here is Tanja Danner who is Director of Public & Healthcare in NNIT, and she talks about her work in IT with digitalisation. Tanja has a MSc degree in Software Design from ITU, and works as a manager of IT projects which help solving real world problems and challenges for society.
