Pre-assessment

If you are not sure whether you meet the admission requirements, we can pre-assess your completed academic qualifications prior to your application for admission.

We conduct pre-assessments from 1 October to 30 November. Fill out the application form below and send an email to admission@itu.dk with the subject title 'Application for preassessment - YOUR NAME'. Remember to enclose the following documentation:

All applicants:

  • A verification form, filled in, signed, and stamped by your school.
  • A scan of your upper secondary school certificate (original diploma and transcript of records) and an official English translation* of the certificate.
  • A scan of documentation for higher education (if you have started/completed a higher education programme).
  • Fill out the Application form for pre-assessment. Please note the form is only open for editing within the application window.

Applicants with upper secondary qualifications from outside the EU/EEA:

  • An assessment of your academic qualifications from the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education.
  • If you have already taken an English test: A scan of the approved test with the required test result.
  • If you hold a Danish residence permit: a scan of the front and back of your residence card and a copy of the residence letter.

* Translated into English by an official/certified translator with signature and stamp.

Be aware that a pre-assessment is an assessment of whether you are considered a qualified applicant and not a guarantee of admission.

We conduct pre-assessments as quickly as possible but please note that it may take until 31 January before you receive an answer.
