Student Organisations at ITU

To make the most of the time you spend at ITU, it might be a good idea to take advantage of some of the student-run initiatives. They contribute to the great study environment at the ITU, and below you can get an idea of what they do and how to contact them.

stupIT

stupIT

stupIT is the Student Council at IT University of Copenhagen. It consists of students from every field of study at the university, and is run by students. stupIT works to promote student interests and improve students’ political, professional, and social conditions at the ITU.

Scrollbar

ScrollBar

The university’s party committee is named ScrollBar. They are all volunteers and they run the university’s Friday bar. They also arrange the theme parties in the course of the semester. Analog

Analog is the IT University’s student café where you can have a nice cup of coffee and chat with your fellow students. Analog is also a good place to do group work if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere. The café is run by student volunteers, so this is another place to get involved in creating a positive study environment at the IT University. You find the Analog café next to the Information desk.

ITU Innovators

ITU Innovators is a voluntary student-driven organisation that facilitates and support entrepreneurship among ITU students. From the very beginning, the mission has been to encourage start-ups and entrepreneurial bottoms-up innovation within the ITU peer network through events, meet-ups, development projects and the like.

Venture Cup

Venture Cup is a non-profit organisation that helps students turn their academic ideas into a business. Venture Cup organises two idea competitions every year to facilitate entrepreneurship among university students. ITU Innovators is responsible for running the membership and involving the students in activities provided by Venture Cup.

ITU.Film is ITU’s student driven cinema, screening free moving pictures whether it be documentaries, movies, series or films. Events are announced on Facebook.

CampusCup

CampusCup is the student union arranging the annual kayak beerrace in Emil Holms Kanal which is a collaborative event between ITU and KUA.

ITU LAN

ITU LAN is a biannual gaming event at the IT University. Hosted by the ITU LAN Organizers and held in the spring and autumn of each year. The event has a growing crowd and a increasing amount of sponsors.

AIESEC - Youth Leadership Development

Public Lectures
